My doctor told me that once I hit 65, I won't need Pap tests as long as they don't find any precancerous cells or I don't develop cervical cancer or HPV. My sister had a hysterectomy and they took out her cervix a few years ago, so she'll never need Pap tests again. As you get older, chances are you'll be seeing a general doctor.
