They can give you a medicine called Gabapentin, to help with the burning and pain. It is not a narcotic, but it does make you sleepy, especially when you first start taking it.

i am unable to lay on a table-I need someone who offers a chair massage (for a massage from the waist up to my neck).

I prefer to lay on a bed, way more comfortable and easier for me to sleep on. You could also buy a reclining massage chair, I am sure that is pretty nice, too.

My sister has Medi-Cal coverage and goes to the Bakersfield Family Chiropractic on Truxtun Ave. If they aren't taking new patients, you can ask them if they can recommend another practice that accepts Medi-Cal. ...Read More

Is it normal to feel unwell after a chiropractic adjustment?

You use the word "unwell" so I would say no it is not normal especially if it happens often.If your neck is being "cracked ' in both directions you need to find someone else.
