I thought that this place was supposed to be a family owned and honest business, but my 17 year old son, who has been saving for a new engine for his old truck went here and was cheated out of his hard earned money. This placed promised him a good running engine, and went as far to say that they would never sell a customer a bad engine, and would test the motor before it even left the shop. They LIED! When the engine was brought to the mechanics and the valve covers were removed, the engine was filled with sludge! These are not honest people. What kind of business would cheat a kid?
Better of going to pick n pull just up the street from this hole in the wall. Wrote me a receipt for a part they still haven't been able to come up with. That was 2 months ago. Overcharged me for the part I did pick up since they were supposed to be a package deal. Never again will they see a dime of my money.... ***BUYER BEWARE***
A no nonsense business that knows automobiles. I found them to be very helpful as well as knowledgeable about parts. Their prices are reasonable and their inventory is extensive. They have been in business over 41 yrs. My experiences have been very positive. I have found parts with them that were not available elsewhere.
Once I went there, no place else would do. If the part wasn't there, they found it. Didn't know them at first, when I got some large items, then checked on some little stuff, Wren the owner said I could have them, the car was going to the scrapper any way...WOW. Don't expect free, but do expect a good inventory and polite, knowledgeable people that know what part crosses over. Tell them J B sent you, cause I go there all the time and you may get a break. REAL GOOD FOLKS !!.
If they don't have it at the salvage yard then they can get it aftermarket, largest inventory in KC, best place to go.
