Our two-bedroom coach house apartment on Clark/W. Deming in Lincoln Park was perfect for us. We brought our 19-month-old son along, and the apartment offered us the convenience of a kitchen, a room for him to sleep and play in while we stayed up and enjoyed our wine, etc. Whether you have kids or not, this place is a great way to enjoy the neighborhood, and if you are familiar with Chicago, you know that each of the city's neighborhoods has its own vibe and "culture," so to speak. The location is perfect, the apartment is beautiful, the price is great, and the folks at At Home Inn Chicago couldn't be nicer. They left us soaps, coffee, and even a bottle of wine. The place was spotless and comfortable. Everything was wonderful!
This building is in a great location, it's steps from the loop but also very close to three grocery stores, AMC, and shopping. The doorman staff is always very friendly, and they tend to do fun things once a month for all the residents. The only downside is that it sometimes smells inside the apartment b/c we're so close to the trash chute, no washer and dryer in our apartments, and the electric bill is fairly high because of the floor to cieling windows. Overall I would say I have lived in several high rise apartments and this has been the best! The front office is always quick to resolve problems and help.
My property manager Kurt couldn't have been more responsive. Both my washer and dryer quit working late one evening and Kurt had the repairman in my place the next morning and the units were repaired that day. Because of several events, I had to move 8 months before my lease was over. As a result, I contacted Kurt to learn my options. He outlined several of them, so I chose to re let the unit. I paid Kass one month's rent to take care of all the marketing, showings and applications. Within less than a month, they had a new tenant sign to take over in January. I highly recommend renting from Kass!!
I have used other apartment finding services before such as Apartment Guys and the Apartment People (they are awful, do not use them.), and the Apartment Finders were by far the best. They actually listened to what I wanted and did not try to push me out of my price range or in to another area I did not want to live in. The agent even offered to pick me up on my lunch break to go look at places because my schedule is so hectic. In the end, I found an apartment on Craigslist, but I would definitely use them again, as they are also a great resource.
Holy River North knowledge. I was specifically looking in River North and found Jon Perlman through a Google search. He found me the perfect condo extremely fast, negotiated the price down, and helped me closed on it in record time. Everyone says buying a home is stressful, well, it sure helps when you never second guess the property your buying. The most amazing thing is, he predicted a double digit rise in the price of the condos in my building, and it happen over the summer. Jon knows value. I'll call ya crazy if you use anyone else.
I can't believe the people on here leaving negative reviews for TMG Management.. on The Apartment Source's page.. These are two separate companies that work together but are run by different people. The Apartment Source is a great company to work for, I have been with them 5+ years. I agree TMG had some issues years ago being understaffed, but it's been under new management for 2 years now, and they've been nothing but wonderful to their tenants. This website needs to separate these reviews into two pages, because they are two companies.
The apartment provided by At home Inn Chicago was spacious and comfortable. Everything was so convenient: transportation, supermarkets, and shops. The kitchen, so well equipped, there were thing in their kitchen that I don’t have in mine yet. The best of all is that the staff was kind and helpful, so quick in giving us advices whenever we needed. We will rent apartments from them in the future when we will be in Chicago.
I think that is not fair to the agency. If you cannot affort the rent to begin with, why you want to look at the place. If you do not know what you can affort, that is your problems. Read all the details before signing anything, that is given regarding who you are dealing with even your own lawyer. I think this is a good lesson for this client in the future.
These are great apartments located off of South Shore Drive. In fact, Rainbow Park is right out your back door- literally! Just minutes from Lake Shore Drive, South Beach Apartments have newly renovated Studio and 1 BR homes with laundry located onsite. Come see this beautiful and immaculate community. Feel free to bring your pets too!
I used their services last month when I went looking for a new pad in the Loop area. James was so helpful he was able to get me a new cozy studio that is so affordable and matched my needs. Their on-line chat staff Cher attended to my queries fast...It only took me 8 days to move into my new home.... Thank you very much....
