My dog Noodle absolutely loves doggie play camp or at least that's what the pictures tell me! I love that John and his team post pictures everyday so that, even when I'm out of town, I can check in and see how Noodle is doing. Plus, he usually sleeps for 2 days straight when he gets home so I know he's playing constantly. Wouldn't board him anywhere else!
Our dog Leo has so much fun when he stays at Doggie Play Camp! The whole staff is very nice and treat the dogs so well! The place is clean and the dogs have the freedom to go anywhere in the house and play with each other. They even take them to the dog park! I would not leave my dog anywhere else!
I've been sending my puppy to Doggie Play Camp both when I'm out of town for long periods of time and just during the day to get out some of her energy.
They take good care of my furry baby and consistently return her to me nice and tired from lots of play. You can follow all the puppy activity on facebook as they upload photos all day long for you to check in. I've even saved some for myself off the page that were just too funny to pass up.
You can tell the staff really loves animals and I'll be bringing my new puppy here along with her sister in the future.
Kouper has been there several times and he can not wait to go back. The owner happens to be a personal friend of mind and his staff loves Kouper and he is always glad to see them.I would recomend every dog to go and stay at least one time to get the experience i got.
The people here are amazing! Very friendly and they LOVE dogs! I really liked the set-up. Dogs aren't kenneled unless they're misbehaving or requested to do so. There are dog beds everywhere; if your dog is a couch potato like mine was, then no worries, they are allowed there too. They can even sleep in the beds if they want to. There is a meet and greet first which I love. My Marley had anxiety, but they made her feel comfortable and she got to sniff out everything before she stayed there. Needless to say Marley loved it there! I recently had to put her down due to lymphoma :( but I would definitely bring my dog there again without hesitation.
My dog and I could not be more happy with Doggie Play Camp. My dog is VERY active and I love the fact that there is always someone around to watch and play with him. The pool and Facebook photos are two great aspects of Doggie Play Camp. I love looking at photos of my dog while I am gone. He always seems to be hanging out by the pool!
They will take great care of your dog. When I took Holly for her meet and greet before her first stay, I could tell she was going to love it. Lots of other dogs to play with, and all the comforts of home. We went out of town for a weekend, and it was so cool to be able to see pictures of her and see how much fun she was having. She is a dog who really loves people (one of those who has to say hello to every human at the dog park), and everyone at Doggie Play Camp gives the dogs lots of love and attention.
The second time I took her to Doggie Play Camp, she didn't even look back when we dropped her off. She knew she was in a for a great time without us.
I recently was away from home overnight while I was fostering a dog, so we took the foster to play camp too. Even after a short stay, we could see a change in her. She was more affectionate and less timid. She had obviously gotten lots of love from her new friends. It was obviously a great socialization experience for her.
Fantastic place. I am so glad I found it, and I know Holly is too.
I have tried several places that say they are day camps and say they socialize your dogs, but they all end up locking my dog in a Kennel or run for most of the time by herself. She is miserable and lonely.
Doggie Play Camp has no kennels and my dog loves to go and join into John's ""pack"". He and his staff take such excellent care of my dog and I know she is having the time of her life. The icing on the cake is the updates and pictures they post on Facebook daily. Even when I'm a thousand miles away I get to see Izzy and know she is having a great time and is being treated well.
I highly recommend Doggie Play Camp, and my dog Izzy agrees!
My 3 Weimaraners LOVE Doggie Play Camp. My husband and I love to travel and it was always such a hardship to put the burden of doggie sitting our big babies on someone else since they can be such a handful. Doggie Play camp is WONDERFUL, 24 hour care, no cages or kennels, free roam indoors and back yard and patio areas, and my favorite, daily updates and pics of your dogs. I highly recommend Doggie Play Camp to anyone that needs a loving place for their furry children to stay or just to go visit and play.
I found Doggie Play Camp last year, when my six month old lab mix (Mak) convinced me he needed to do something during the day other than wait for me to come home. From the first meet and greet, Mak and I knew he would thrive there. His time with John, Kristen, Liz, and all the other staff, and with all the canine friends he's made there have helped Mak to mature, to be much more social and sociable, and to enjoy his time with me much more, too. I can't recommend this enough. No cages, free run of the house and property, always careful supervision and care.
I recently rescued a beautiful puppy and, although I have had dogs for over 15 years, and had never boarded one before. I was very worried about leaving my puppy somewhere but, when I heard about Doggie Play Camp, I decided to give them a try and it has been a wonderful experience. My dog loves spending the day with them and when I had to leave him overnight he really enjoyed it. They love dogs and take very good care of them. It is just like a home away from home for them, they play all day and make good friends. They are not in kennels or cages, they have great outdoor areas, they are free to go wherever they want and you get daily updates with pictures of your dogs. Just WONDERFUL!!!
