Rarely do I have to wait more than 10 minutes for the nurse to guide me to a room, which in my experience, is a blessing in itself. Dr Winder is a fast talker but a good listener. My previous orthopedic dr stalled doing a scope of my knee for months. Dr Winder scheduled the scope on my 2nd visit (after receiving MRI & CT scan results showing swelling without showing the cause of the swelling). He removed a cyst which greatly reduced the constant pain. Dr Winder is open and honest about possible solutions to any knee related problems I'm having. Both he and his nurse are excellent with filling out and faxing paperwork (related to my employment) in a timely manner. I cannot boast enough about the care I received from Dr Winder and his RN's. Top notch!!! Thank you, Dr Winder, for hearing my voice.

The care was very good and the therapists are friendly but I have a problem with their billing department. Make sure you know what and how much they are going to charge(for each little thing) and have it all in writing up front with the necessary insurance pre authorizations before they treat you. I also got some treatment payments denied due to them not even attempting pre authorization and they still wanted me to pay even though the "additional service" was also not even done. This made my bill balance higher than it would have been if they had simply charged me for exactly what was done. It was frustrating to say the least. I can recommend the therapists but not the billing side of the clinic.
I give Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic an "A" for in-clinic care and an "F" for correspondence and processing. Not only is there an additional charge for all essential paperwork for employers and disability insurance (the equivalent selling a pair of shoes and charging extra for the laces) , it is rarely completed in a timely manner. One claim form took two weeks and now I'm waiting for a return to work form that I gave them on my last visit on Monday the 18th. It is now Friday the 22nd and I'm scheduled to return to work Monday the 25th but will not be allowed to until BR Ortho completes that form and returns it to me. I am already certain to miss at least one day's pay due to their tardiness and will miss another day for each one that they delay. All phone calls except those to billing go directly to voicemail and messages are not returned in a timely manner.
6 months ago I had such bad sciatica I was checking out back surgeons. I work offshore in the oil field and got to the point I couldn't walk 50 feet without bending over in pain. Dr. Choudary said 24 visits and I will be pain free. I was skeptical at best, but after a good friend had unsuccessful back surgery, I had to give it a try or quit my job. I finished my last visit 2 months ago. I am totally pain free and still working offshore. I had tried other chiros before without success. I am 63 years old and now I think I can make it to 66 and actually retire. I thank the Lord for every day without pain.
bad news they are only out to get your money and they do not adjust you at all ripping the public off
